SOUND EXPERIMENTS - MAINLY ELECTRONIC

This event aimed to bring together the local community and provide a platform for experiencing art through sound.

The event showcased the diverse talents of electronic music pioneers Chris Meighan (GB-SCT/NL), Daniel van Leonen (NL), and Marija Jociute (LT/AT), also known as Hylut.

Meighan's improvised performances were eclectic, experimental, and uniquely danceable, while van Leonen's compositions with a wide range of styles, perfectly suited for modern dance, theater, and film. Hylut's soundscapes transported listeners to a universe of rhythms, where memories mixed with the promise of an uncertain future. Through her haunting vocals, she was inviting audiences to explore the depths of emotion and experience.

Set at the Tempel Amsterdam, a historic building with a rich and varied past, this event offered more than just music—it was an opportunity to connect with the space's vibrant history and the creative energy of its current participants.
Through events like this, I aim to create collaboration, community building, and creative expression.

From my previous curated projects like Eighteen29 and Wildlife, Building as Opera to this latest event, I'm committed to pushing artistic boundaries and creating memorable experiences for all involved.
